Getting to the San Juan Islands is half the fun! Fly directly from Seattle in 30-45 minutes in an airplane or seaplane. Or drive an hour and a half north of Seattle to the ferry terminal in Anacortes (or south from Vancouver, B.C.) and board a Washington State Ferry (WSF). If you are coming by WSF, we recommend you have your vehicle in the ferry line at least one hour ahead of sailing during fall, winter and spring, and two or more hours ahead during summer and holidays. WSF fares to the San Juan Islands paid at the Anacortes terminal include round trip travel.
