Honeymoons

Choose a romantic dinner, an adventurous kayak adventure, or sail into the sunset as you celebrate the next chapter of your life together. An island honeymoon offers many choices for romance, fun and adventure; you’ll want to return year after year for an unforgettable anniversary or family getaway.

Stay in a cozy cabin on Orcas Island, where you can launch your kayak just a few steps away. Wander the village of Eastsound to shop galleries and boutiques and taste the creative flavors of the island. Try mouthwatering  pastries from local bakeries, artisan chocolates from sweet shops and heritage food from renowned restaurants. Walk along Crescent Beach or marvel at the view of the San Juan and Canadian Gulf Islands from a 1930s stone tower at the top of Mt. Constitution.

Dine in one of the island's farm-to-table restaurants, stop by the farmers’ market or take a romantic stroll along South Beach - the longest beach in the county. Visit the past at the national historical parks on the island. Enjoy Friday Harbor’s boutiques, galleries, and museums, go kayaking or mopeding, or take a whale and wildlife tour. End your stay at a local restaurant in town with island wine and food.

Spend a lazy afternoon exploring a web of easy bicycling and hiking trails, and wander quaint Lopez Village, where you can browse shops and galleries. With farms to visit, a bakery, a charming library, historical museum and performing arts center, you and your new spouse will find many ways to experience “island time.”
