The Amaro Farm is located in a picturesque setting in the middle of San Juan Island. The farm originated in the late 1800s by one of the homesteading families and has been owned by only two families in its lifetime. The farm raises sheep, including the Valais Blacknose breed, known as the "world's cutest sheep", as well as ducks. The farm grows numerous crops, including hay, hazelnuts, rye, cherries, boysenberries, hops, sunflowers, pumpkins, and Christmas trees. Inside the 1889 barn is a farm store selling a variety of farm and sheep-related items. Coming soon is a distillery offering whiskey, bourbon, brandy, vodka, and rum.
