FAMILY PARK & PLAYGROUND

The Family Park and Playground is a popular place for San Juan Island families and visitors to enjoy. The park is open dawn to dusk. In addition to the playground equipment there is a covered shelter with two picnic tables and a barbecue. Island Rec operates this park in cooperation with the San Juan County Fairgrounds. For everyone’s enjoyment, please observe the following rules:

• Park hours are from 8:00 a.m. until dusk. This playground is designed for children ages 2 to 12.
• Children should be supervised by an adult.
• Equipment may be slippery when wet.  Use extra caution.
• Please, NO PETS, NO SKATEBOARDS, NO SMOKING, NO ALCOHOL

The park is located inside the San Juan County Fairgrounds, in Friday Harbor on Argyle Avenue. The park is adjacent to Island Rec’s skate park.
