Glamping and camping at Lakedale Resort provide options for every outdoor enthusiast on San Juan Island. From sleeping in a tent next to one of our three spring-fed lakes, to a stay in our Glamping cabins, our glamorous glamping cottages with full bathroom, or the opportunity to stay in our newest accommodations, over-the-top luxury yurts with full bath, wet bar, BBQ, and private deck with your very own hot tub. If you prefer the comforts of home, bring along your trailer or RV. Our resort is conveniently located four miles north of the ferry landing at Friday Harbor and four miles south of Roche Harbor Resort.
Lakedale is situated on 82 scenic acres, providing guests with unlimited outdoor activities without ever having to leave the property! Rousing games of chess on our giant chess set, ping pong games, bocce ball, horseshoes, and bird watching will keep you and your kids completely entranced. Our three fresh spring water lakes offer calm swimming areas, boat rentals (aqua cycles, paddle boats, row boats, kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and canoes) and fishing for wide-mouth bass and trout in our well-stocked lakes (Lakedale fishing permit required).
Our summer season brings even more organized activities to keep everyone in the family entertained. Make tie-dye shirts (a Lakedale tradition), learn how to paddle board, paint your own birdhouse, create crazy jewelry, and take a campfire cooking class. Our General Store is the hub of our summer activity schedule so check here every day to find new and exciting happenings around the resort. The General Store is open on weekends starting in May, and 7 days a week from June 1 to Labor Day. Stocked with apparel and unique souvenir items you just can’t go home without, we also offer piping hot espresso drinks, and our new Picnic Pantry, which features freshly made sandwiches, salads, and other treats. Wine, beer, groceries, ice cream, camping and fishing gear (including bait), ice and wood make this a complete country store experience!
