The Lopez Island Historical Society & Museum, located in the heart of Lopez Village, features indoor and outdoor exhibits focusing on Lopez Island history and life. With an active public programming schedule, there is sure to be a family event or educational talk to pique your interest. The Lopez Museum maintains an extensive photo and document archive, where you can search for long-lost relatives or purchase historical images of the island. The museum is open 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Wednesday through Sunday, from May through September, and weekends in October. Open for research by appointment throughout the year.
