The Orcas Island Film Festival screens 35+ buzz-worthy, brand new films screened in one of the most beautiful places in the world.  

 EARLY BIRD PASSES ON SALE MEMORIAL DAY  

After being voted one of USA TODAY's top 10 film festivals in the country, the 10th Annual Orcas Island Film Festival (OIFF) October 16-20, 2024 returns with a jam-packed edition with in-person screenings, parties, receptions, and opportunities for filmmakers and film fans to mingle and converse about the world of cinema.

Over 35 feature films representing more than 20 countries will be presented as part of the festival´s highly curated line-up of award contenders that have recently made their debut at the world´s top festivals including Cannes, Sundance, Berlin, Venice, Telluride, Toronto, and more.

Films at OIFF are screened over five days in three venues equipped with state-of-the-art cinema projection systems. Festival attendees can immerse themselves in stories from around the world that inspire, inform, and entertain.  Attendees have the exclusive opportunity to see these films before their official theatrical release.

Orcas Island is a quiet and pristine environment where film lovers can wander, reflect and digest films as well as enjoy the quaint village of Eastsound and its restaurants, bars, and shops.

The Orcas Island Film Festival is made possible each year by the generosity of many individual donors, businesses, grants, and over 75 committed volunteers.  It simply wouldn’t exist without help.
