For 31 years, Puget Sound Express has provided thousands of travelers with fun-packed and fascinating tours on the waters in the San Juan Islands and around the Victorian seaport of Port Townsend, Washington. We are also the official passenger ferry connection between San Juan Island and Port Townsend.
From April - September we run most days, leaving Port Townsend in the morning - stopping in Friday Harbor for lunch and sightseeing. We make it back to Port Townsend around 5:00 p.m. One-way trips are a great way to get back and forth between Port Townsend and Friday Harbor.
Three generations of our family work to make your trip a lasting memory. In addition to our full-day San Juan Islands tours, we also operate half-day whale watching and wildlife tours from Port Townsend, AND from Seattle.
