The Friday Harbor Ferry Terminal is at the base of Spring St. with a small waiting room and easy access to local businesses while you wait for a ferry. Washington State Ferries offer plentiful, comfortable booth seating with marvelous views, as well as access to spacious forward and aft viewing (and picture-taking) areas outside. Depending on stops, the ride takes between 50 and 90 minutes to your island of choice. Tickets purchased in Anacortes are for a round-trip. Be sure to check the ferry schedule for seasonal departures and best travel times.
