WaterWorks Gallery is San Juan Island’s première gallery for contemporary artwork, established in 1985 with the concept of showcasing artists based in the San Juan Islands and the Pacific Northwest. The work of the gallery’s painters and sculptors reflects the unique Northwest experience. Artists and their visions evolve and change, stimulated by the changing times we live in. Art jewelry is a new addition to the gallery.
Starting its 34th year, WaterWorks Gallery located in Friday Harbor, San Juan Island is a contemporary light-filled gallery space that continues to evolve as a gallery dedicated to showing artists from the Islands, Washington, Oregon, and British Columbia. The represented artists, painters, sculptors and jewelers reflect the area's beauty, both conventional and unusual. That is the flavor of the Northwest, making WaterWorks Gallery the unique place it is.
Every month starting in May, besides hosting a new show, the gallery has created a new concept called Art AiSLE.
