The Orcas Island Historical Museums are pleased to be hosting the 13th Annual Orcas Island Cider and Mead Festival on Saturday, July 19th on the Village Green in Eastsound. The festival will have a number of cider and mead producers, their fabulous products, and lots of raving fans. Come taste and learn about some of the best ciders and meads from the Pacific Northwest and beyond. There will be live music on the stage, and great local food from the Orcas Island Farmers Market right next door. And definitely make sure you purchase some bottles to take with you for later enjoyment! Proceeds from the festival will benefit the Orcas Island Historical Museums, and festival-goers will be able to visit the Museum and learn about Orcas Island’s historic orchards and fruit industry.
