Community Beach Cleanup at Jackson Beach

Plastic Free Salish Sea we will be continuing to work with local businesses and organizations to spread the word about microplastics by hosting monthly beach cleanups. On the first Sunday of each month, at Jackson Beach, we will be removing litter and looking for microplastics. Together, we can make a difference for the marine environment, forage fish, salmon, seabirds, and orca that call the Salish Sea home.

Join us from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm on cleanup days at Jackson Beach to continue our work removing litter, microplastics, and debris from local beaches. Come show your support by joining in efforts at Jackson Beach.

The monthly beach cleanup for March will be hosted by the Youth Conservation Corps! Come out and help these intrepid youth remove trash and debris from Jackson’s Beach. All are welcome! Will you come lend a hand?

Every piece of plastic removed makes a difference for a cleaner, healthier Salish Sea. Your efforts are helping protect this beautiful place we call home—thank you!
