The Archipelago Collective Chamber musicians are thrilled to join the San Juan Community Theater to bring music and education events to Friday Harbor for their new Winter Residency program! Their world-class musicians will spend two days on San Juan Island engaging with the community, presenting assemblies for kids at the local schools, and performing a final concert at the theater for kids and families to learn about what we do and experience the magic of chamber music. With an emphasis on interactive learning and cultural enrichment, this residency aims to inspire a new generation of music enthusiasts. The program will feature workshops that delve into the intricacies of chamber music, offering unique insights into the art form. Participants will have the chance to interact directly with the musicians, ask questions, and discover the significance and role of chamber music in today's world.
