Moran State Park is a 5,252-acre camping park with five freshwater lakes, 38 miles of trails that are great for hiking or birdwatching, and mountain biking in winter months. There are also plenty of picnic shelters, and other activities such as horseback riding, boat rentals, swimming and more. The park is open year-round for camping and day use, and you can reserve ahead online, or check at the park entrance for availability. Reservations are necessary Memorial Day through Labor Day.

Mount Constitution: Enjoy hiking or driving to the top of Mount Constitution, the highest point in the San Juan Islands, for stunning panoramic views of the surrounding islands and waterways. Check out the gift shop and learning center operated by the Friends of Moran, which offer maps, gifts, cards and information about the park and its history.
Cascade Lake: Swim, kayak, canoe, or fish in Cascade Lake, a picturesque freshwater lake located within the park. Orcas Adventures offers a variety of boat rentals, fishing opportunities, and operates a seasonal snack shack!
Hiking Trails: Explore a variety of hiking trails ranging from casual nature walks to more challenging hikes, offering opportunities to experience the park's diverse landscapes, including forests, lakes, and waterfalls.
Camping: Stay overnight at one of the park's campgrounds, offering both tent and RV sites amidst the natural beauty of the island.
Mountain Biking: Hit the mountain biking trails that wind through the park's forests and hills, offering thrilling rides and beautiful scenery. Trails are open for biking mid-September through mid-May.
Picnicking: Enjoy a picnic with family and friends at one of the many picnic areas scattered throughout the park, some of which offer stunning views of the surrounding landscapes.
Wildlife Viewing: Keep an eye out for the park's diverse wildlife, including deer, birds, and maybe even a glimpse of bald eagles soaring overhead.
Interpretive Programs: Join ranger-led interpretive programs and guided hikes to learn about the park's history, geology, and ecology.
