In the San Juan Islands, you’ll find it’s less a question of where’s a park than of where isn’t there a park. Please adhere to our Leave No Trace guidelines while you're visiting any park or shoreline. The Islands are home to precious ecosystems. More than 1,000 acres of shoreline, islands, forests and more were designated as the San Juan Islands National Monument by President Obama in 2013. Some of these places are open for visitors, but be sure to take extra care when you visit.
