San Juan Islands Dining
Fine dining in the San Juan Islands means tasty food -- often locally produced -- served in a laid-back atmosphere (forget the jacket and tie). Many of the islands’ restaurants take advantage of the bounty from local growers, both for its excellence and freshness, and out of environmental concern. Consider adding a local wine to your meal in these establishments -- labels from San Juan Vineyards and Lopez Island Vineyards are featured on many of their wine lists.

A great place to have a snack and wait for the ferry, the old porch is a gathering place with a view, just as it was when it was first built in 1905. [more...]
